Obituary for Vito Martino
It is with profound sorrow, we mourn the passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great grandfather Vito Martino, on April 7, 2020 at the age of 87. Vito is now reunited with his beloved wife Domenica (September 22, 2011) and his son Sam (January 6, 2014). Cherished and loving father to Joe (Joan) and Nick (Karen) and father in law to Diane. Proud Nonno of Joey (Stefanie), Victoria (Michael Di Giacomi), Michael, Christopher, Melissa (Paul De Roos), Sable and Laura and great-grandfather to Domenico, Mia, Stefano, Adrian and Leo.
During this unprecedented situation with COVID-19, it is with very heavy hearts that our family has made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral with our immediate family, in honor of our dear father, Vito Martino. We have chosen to do this in order to minimize the threat of spreading the coronavirus. Ultimately, we recognize that the health and safety of our family and friends comes first. We appreciate your love and support at this time, and we welcome your messages of condolence in our memory wall above.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Heart & Stroke Foundation in memory of Vito. We would like to extend our gratitude and thanks to the staff in Villa Colombo for their care and support of our father. A tribute and celebration of his life will be held at a later date, when it is safe to do so.
