Obituary for Wei You
It is with profound sorrow, I mourn the passing of my younger brother Mr. Wei You, on May 11, at the age of 57 (December 30, 1962 – May 11, 2020). Cherished son of Mrs. Zhipei Cai and Mr. Peikun You. Wei holds a special place in the hearts of his many aunties, nieces and nephews and their families in Shanghai, China.
During this unprecedented situation with COVID-19, it is with very heavy hearts that I have made the difficult decision to hold a private funeral, in honor of Wei You. I have chosen to do this in order to minimize the threat of spreading the coronavirus. Ultimately, I recognize that the health and safety of his friends come first. I appreciate your love, support, and understanding at this time, and I welcome your messages of condolence.
His ashes will be taken to Shanghai to be with his parents when the pandemic ends and travel restriction is left.
